Building inspector/Senior building inspector
This position performs routine inspections at various stages of construction, alterations, and repair of commercial and residential building sites making sure construction is safe. Ensuring conformance with approved plans, specifications, standards, permits, licensing and safety standards. 

Housing and Economic Development Manager 
Supported by two staff members and reporting to the Director, Menlo Park’s Housing and Economic Development (HED) Manager will be responsible for initiating, implementing and overseeing a variety of affordable housing programs which encompass below market rate housing, purchase assistance loans and affordable housing units in new developments. Current and upcoming housing development activities will bring new affordable and much needed options to the community. The HED Manager is also charged with staffing the City’s Housing Commission.
