New landscaping improvements at the
Belle Haven Branch Library are brightening up the library’s front area so come see the new plants. Public Works staff added carpet roses to the library frontage, as well as heavenly bamboo and Lily of the Nile. These will add a nice pop of color throughout the year. In addition, the department replaced a Red Maple tree and added new Fortnight Lilies. The areas were then covered with mulch to keep the roots cool and to preserve soil moisture during the upcoming summer months. On your next visit to the Belle Haven Branch Library, check out the beautiful landscape and flowers as they change throughout the year. Open hours can be found on the
library hours webpage.
