After 30 years of public service in Menlo Park, Community Development Director Arlinda Heineck retired on April 26, 2018. Her distinguished career includes many highlights, from project manager for the 145-unit Vintage Oaks subdivision to contributing to the City’s first Below Market Rate (BMR) housing ordinance and guidelines, and playing an instrumental role in the creation and success of the El Camino Real/Downtown Specific Plan. Most importantly, Arlinda proved to be a trusted leader and a mentor in the organization.

Arlinda’s positive impact on many people, is reflected by the many former and current Menlo Park employees who gathered to celebrate her service and accomplishments. Arlinda will be missed and we wish her well in her new adventures.
