The Oak Grove bicycle lanes trial period is coming to an end and the City needs your feedback on next steps. The bike lane improvements were installed in September 2017 as part of a one-year trial period. The City is currently conducting an end-trial data analysis to make recommendations to the City Council on whether to install the treatments permanently, make any modifications to the trial design or convert the street segments back to their original layouts. Responses in the end-trial survey are anonymous and will help the City make informed recommendations. The
survey is available through May 18, 2018.
The Oak Grove Bicycle Lanes project is a one-year trial installation of bicycle facilities on Oak Grove Avenue, University Drive and Crane Street. The route connects key destinations in the City which includes schools, the downtown and residential neighborhoods. The project includes buffered bike lanes on a portion of Oak Grove Avenue and University Drive, with a connecting bicycle route marked with sharrows (shared-lane marking) on Crane Street, Santa Cruz Avenue and Live Oak Avenue. project page.
