Community Police Academy

Join the 2018 Menlo Park Police Community Academy

Applications are currently being accepted for the Menlo Park Police Community Academy. The Academy gives our community members firsthand information on how and why the police department operates, and takes a look at the culture of police work and the organization.

The academy provides an excellent opportunity for the public to interact with department members. If you want to learn more about what police officers and staff do every day and are interested in criminal law, forensics or investigations, this is the place for you. The Academy is an eight week program open to ages 18 years and older, and takes place on Wednesdays, starting Sept. 5, 2018 from 6:30-9:30 p.m., and ending Oct. 24, 2018. There is one Saturday session, Oct. 20 from 8 a.m-2 p.m.
