Building Division
The
Building Division is a part of the Community Development
Department, which also includes the Planning Division
and Housing and Redevelopment Division. The Building
Division is responsible for coordinating the enforcement
of the City's Building Code and related policies concerning
the construction of residential, commercial, or industrial
projects. The Division provides this oversight through
a "plan check" and "inspection"
process that ensures that projects are designed and
constructed according to Code.
Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Alternate Fridays: Closed
Building Counter Hours
Monday-Thursday: 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Alternate Fridays: Closed
Please call to make appointments for over-the-counter submittals for small projects between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. only.
Code questions available to be answered over-the-counter in the afternoon hours between 1:00 p.m and 4:00 p.m.
