Hunter Properties has entitled a project to construct 24 new residential units and associated site improvements at 133 Encinal Avenue. The project site is a 1.74-acre parcel that is part of the El Camino Real/Downtown Specific Plan. The proposal includes the removal of heritage trees, a major subdivision, and a BMR (Below Market Rate) Housing Agreement for three affordable units.
The City Council approved the project on January 12, 2016 (staff report). As of April 2017, building permits have not yet been issued.
